1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

  • Contact information. When you email us or use a contact link, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include.
  • Assessment and diagnostic responses. When you complete one of our free tools (for example the AI Growth Gap Assessment, Revenue Multiplier, AI Skill Assessment, Revenue Spark Diagnostic, or AI Readiness Assessment), we collect your email address and the responses you submit.
  • Booking information. When you schedule a call, our scheduling provider (Google) collects your name, email address, and phone number, and you may choose to share your job title or position.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, for security and to operate the Site. The Site stores limited information in your browser's local storage to remember display preferences; this is functional and is not used to track you across sites.

We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking pixels. If we add analytics or marketing technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide a consent mechanism before they are used.

2. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide your assessment or diagnostic results;
  • Qualify and follow up with leads, and schedule and conduct discovery calls;
  • Deliver and tailor coaching and advisory sessions (for example, based on your skills assessment);
  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services;
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

3. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — when you submit an assessment, book a call, or otherwise voluntarily provide your information;
  • Legitimate interests — to qualify leads, respond to inquiries, and secure and improve the Site, balanced against your rights; and
  • Performance of a contract — to provide services you have requested.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this will not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate our business, under agreements that limit their use of it. These include:

  • Scheduling — Google (calendar booking);
  • Diagnostic & assessment tools — the platforms hosting our tools (including subdomains of hartfulliq.com and third-party app platforms);
  • Hosting and email — our website host and email provider.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA). We have not done so in the preceding 12 months. Because we do not sell or share personal information, we do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link; if this ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide one.

6. Cookies & tracking

The Site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. We use only functional browser storage necessary to remember your display preferences. Third-party tools you choose to use (such as the scheduling form or a linked assessment app) may set their own cookies governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to follow up on a lead, deliver a service, or as required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes — after which we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

8. Your privacy rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it; to request access to and deletion of your personal information; to correct inaccurate information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. As noted above, we do not sell or share your personal information.

How to exercise your rights

Email Notices@hartfulliq.com with your request. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

9. International data transfers

We operate from the United States, and the information we collect is processed there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps as required by law.
